Honourable President, Honourable Vice Presidents and Honourable other Members of the Committee,
As you may be informed the most of the Turkish Cypriots could not suffer the Turkish regime in the occupied by the barbarians part of Cyprus and leaved the island. Relevant to the anger of the Turkish Cypriots (not of course of the illegal Turkish settlers) living in the occupied part of Cyprus against the Turkish regime, is the below article written recently in a Turkish Cypriot news paper, "Afrika". Initially the name of this news paper was "Europa" and was changed to "Afrika" by its owner named Levend as a protest against the Turkish regime of the occupied part of Cyprus.

Uluslararası anlaşmalarla 1969 yılında kurulan Kıbrıs Cumhuriyeti'nin garantör bir ülkesi olarak, anayasal nizamın çalışmasını sağlamak ve toprak bütünlüğünü korumak olan Türkiye; bilinen nedenlerle, 1974 yılında "kurtarıcı" olarak adaya ayak bastıktan sonra bu görevlerini unutmuş... Ve, bu Rum'undur, bu Türk'ündür demeden boş gördüğü her yere bayrağını dikerek sahiplenmiştir.

Get off the neck of this people. Get off and abandon our country. During all the period of your history you dried every earth you invaded. You never did any good thing, and you did not allow any body to do any good thing. Thirty seven years ago we welcomed you with flowers as our liberators. We embraced you and we nestle you. Çünkü; Yunan-Rum ırkçı faşistlerin saldırılarından kurtulacağımızı ve ortağı olduğumuz Kıbrıs Cumhuriyeti'ndeki haklarımızı yeniden kazanacağımızı, iki toplum olarak barış içinde uygarca yaşayabileceğimiz yeni bir hayata başlayacağımızı sanmıştık.
because we thought that we would get rid of the racial attacks from Greeks and Greek Cypriots and we would regain our rights as partners of Cyprus Democracy, and that the two communities will live in peace beginning a new life.

But you, even the Greek Cypriots and even the fascists never said something about our origin, suddenly you discovered that our origin is defective. To turn us to "Turks" with gentle origin, you made our life a torture. You stole our will and our freedom. Erasing our past, you blackened our future. So much. Enough ….. Release our people and go back to your country, Turkey.
Giderken de 37 yıldır "Halil Ibrahim"lerin sofrasından besleyip kendinize benzettiğiniz yerli malı kahramanlarınızı da beraber götürün. Onları Ankara kriterleriyle anavatanlarında görevlendirin. Çocukları askerliklerini oralarda yapsınlar. Çünkü bu memleketin adı Kıbrıs'tır. Ve bu Kıbrıs; tüm Kıbrıslılara aittir.

En çok neye üzülüyorum biliyor musunuz? Geçmişte bu toplumun yaralarına merhem olamamış, Sancaktar dediğimiz tiran yöneticilere salon komutanlığı yapmış,TMT gibi "mukavemet" kurumu, kimlerin elinde nasıl ve neden saldırgan bir kurum haline getirildi?.. Bugün toplumu dipsiz kuyulara atan insan kılığındaki yaratıklar, bazı milli demagogların "TMT'ye hizmet" madalyasını, işgalci komutanın eliyle göğsüne takarak topluma hava atmalarına, lanet olsun.
Do you know what is making me more sad? The fact that a "resisting" organization, like TMT (Τürk Mukavemet Teşkilâtı= Turkish Resisting Organization), the members of which served in the past luxurious offices of tyranny officers, of the Sancaktars (area commanders), and who never succeeded in being a balsam for the wounds of our community, I am sad how and why, this organization (TMT) was transformed from "resisting" to an aggressive one.
So damn today these anthropomorphous monsters, these national demagogues, who throw the people to bottomless wells and who proudly demonstrate to the society the given to them medals by the invader, for "their services to TMT".
