Dear
Editors; Dear Stanley Weiss
Turkey; A Brilliant Fraud - A Serious Genocide
Discrepancy
In your above quoted brilliant report there is a grave
discrepancy. You rightly accuse Turkey for slaughtering 1.5 millions of
its Armenian inhabitants. You state that they transported them in cattle
carts; no there would not be enough such carts for such a titanic
slaughter. Turks' favourite method was to walk their victims to nowhere
and to exhaust them till dead.
While you attribute them with that great 1.5 millions
number, you commit a disservice in reporting the sordid history of Turkey. Besides
their crime concerning Armenians, you ignore their other holocaust of
millennia-standing indigenous populations of over 1,4 millions Hellenes and
over 900 thousands Assyrians. Some total of 4.5 millions of Asia Minor
populations were slaughtered under the orders of Mustapha Kamal and Topal
Pasha. [N.B. "Ataturk - father of Turkey" is rather
fanciful for having a non-Turk Donmeh fanatic who actually despised them, be their
"father". By a slip of the tongue a member of the Turkish
government, visiting London stated that "the genocides gave purpose for
fostering the bond of Turkish nationalism"; hence their chauvinism].
The discrepancy for Turkey's crime is grossly another 3 millions
Christian lives
Likewise in its colonial years, Australia committed
wholesale atrocities to eradicate the natives (inhumanly termed vermin) from
their lands. In latter years Australia as a nation repented and voiced
SORRY for this gross crime. Then made amends to the surviving natives
(termed aboriginee nations). It recognised - their land rights
under its Mabo legislation, - their citizen rights, - and pursues a
program of reconciliation. By
this and other precedents in New Zealand's Treaty of Waitangi with its Maori
natives, USA's with its Sioux natives, Canada, Germany's genocide of Namimbia,
and elsewhere, Turkey ought to recognise its victim indigenous ethnicities as
its rightful millennia-old natives (by comparison Turkey as a nation is only
seven centuries old), and to
restore their citizenship, land properties and shrines ownership, civilisations
freedom of faith and culture, democratic equality and pertinent rights.
It must adapt to recognise the original ethnicities legitimately as its:
- "Hellenic Ethnicity of Turkey", - "Armenian
Ethnicity of Turkey", - Assyrian Ethnicity of Turkey",
etc
Dear Stanley Weiss, in pursuance of historical truth and
justice it is only right to restore this discrepancy. Not only Armenians,
but also Hellenes and Assyrians are victims of the great genocide in Asia
Minor. The world should more fully and correctly get to know the facts
concerning Turkey's recalcitrance and hypocrisy. It pretends concern over
Palestinians, when on the contrary it leaves open its repetitive crimes in Asia
Minor (viz. 2 pogroms on Constantinople 1922 and 1955, the burning of Smyrna,
the ethnic cleansing 1955 to 1980, the 1974 Attila 1, 2, massacres, still
current aggression, ethnic cleansing and apartheid on Cyprus), and still slaughters
the Kurds and Alowites, besides harassing the non-turkic peoples and their
millennia-celebrated institutions. Please restore these discrepancies
Thank you, all the best
